Cua Ong temple festival attracted about five ten thousands visitors

There were about five ten thousands visitors joining the opening ceremony of Cua Ong temple Festival at March 18th in Cua Ong Ward, Cam Pha town, Quang Ninh Province.

Cua Ong temple festival is held in even years and lasts until the end of the third luna month.

Cua Ong temple is one of famous relic sites of Tran Dynasty in the Northeast and is the only one in which worship all family members of Tran Hung Dao Grand commander and his follows.

The temple includes three parts: lower temple, middle temple and upper one. They make a great architecture looking to manificent Bach Long Vi Bay.

Following traditional ceremonies, offering incense and a palanquin procession carrying Tran Quoc Tang’s funeral tablets from the temple to a shrine in Trac Chan Commune were many cultural activities and folk games. These activities attracted many locals and villagers.

Although the main festival is going to held in the second lunar month but ten thousands of visitors and travelers eagerly took part in.
