Itinerary in details:
Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau (-/L/D)
In the morning, tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel around 7:30 – 8:00 and transfer to the Muong’s region of Hoa Binh (74km).
Arrival in Hoa Binh, visit Hoa Binh hydroelectric plant and then cycle to the village of ethnic minority to experience the culture and daily life of ethnic Thai. Continue to Mai Chau after lunch. In the evening, enjoy folk show of Thai people in Mai Chau.
Overnight home-stay at Thai family in Mai Chau.
Day 2: Mai Chau – Ma River (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a boat along the Ma River. Visit En village and then cruise to Chieng village. After exploring Chieng village, cruise back to Phu Luong Waterfall for relaxing or swimming in cool water.
Transfer back to Mai Chau for relaxing
Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 3: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Mornign visit Xa Linh and Pa Co villages, home of Black H’Mong people. Experience their local lifestyle and then trek through Lac and Pom Coong villages and experience the customs, culture of ethnic Thai people.
After lunch, take a car back to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel. Tour concluded.
